Multicultural Sales
Selling to multicultural customers requires specialized cultural competency training. Multicultural marketing is not enough to sell to Hispanics, African Americans, Asians and others because if they aren’t treated with sensitivity to their culture they still won’t buy. Sales techniques must be changed to meet the unique needs of culturally diverse buyers through a consistent multicultural training program. Relationship sales is the key to selling to multicultural customers. You must build a relationship before they will ever buy. Consider diversity training for all employees but particularly front line staff such as salespeople and counter personnel.
